André Rieu To Receive Knighthood in France

André Rieu will receive a high French distinction. He will become Knight in the Order of Arts and Literature of the French Republic.

The world renowned violinist will be presented all the regalia associated with this Knighthood on Thursday in his hometown of Maastricht. The French Ambassador to the Netherlands will travel to the Limburg Capital to present Rieu with this honor.
