Mary Ann's André Rieu Concerts Adventure

Mary Ann's "Seven Straight Concerts" Adventure

Now that I am home, I am reminiscing about my "Week that Was" and a few things that happened along the way. First I want to say that this whole thing began as a lark. I simply got carried away!

#1 Manchester, NH. To start off ... it was rainy and foggy here in Conn. I had to drive this trip (alone) for a few hundred miles. I remember thinking to myself, "Are you crazy, MaryAnn!" Oh well ... I had André and the JSO to keep me company on the CD's, so off I went ... ►Click Here To Read of Some of Mary Ann's Adventure

What an adventure!! Your description of events made me feel like I was tagging along with you. Your memory is as good as Andre's! It was a real pleasure to meet you in New York...see you again in Maastricht.

Really enjoyed seeing your adventures on paper, MaryAnn, and reliving some of them. You did a great job. At this point, Eileen's and my adventure will not be posted. I said to her that in a year, we'd laugh about all this, but I am laughing now...a lot! That's what memories are made of.
Only regret, my husband developed a severe back problem, so only could attend the NYC and Newark concerts but I got to four and to spend time with so many fantastic friends.
    'Til this summer....

  5. Absolutely wonderful, MaryAnn! Thanks for all the details....and the humour is such a bonus! I worked for some gala concerts at GM Place for a few years, so your "step-by-step" agenda really guides me thru' the whole thing, as if I were there already! Not sure if you considered yourself looking at the camera or not in that picture posted, but it sure looks lovely!

Mary Ann, thanks for writing about your escapades with Andre! We had fun frolicking from town-to-town along with you. Maybe you’ll get that triple kiss yet, perhaps in Maastricht!
