A Note from John With More Pictures!!
I just have to say that the concert last night was just out of this world! Dame Edna was a riot. We laughed sooo hard! And his grandson is a fantastic violin player.
Today we all went to Manly Bay, had fish and chips on the beach, and Bobbie was presented with a lovely Birthday cake, on the beach. We all sang "Happy Birthday" to her.
The weather has been fantastic, a little windy at times, but lots of sun and the fans we've met are all just super. Lots of nice people. Will try to get back with you later, hopefully from Newcastle. ~John and Bobbie ... Click here to see NEW pics: ►John's Pictures From Australia

Sydney is a great place for overseas visitors, can't wait to meet everyone when Mother Superior aka Marg Sansom bring Bobbie, John, Ruth and Jim back to Newcastle today.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BOBBIE!!! Looks like you're all having a great time - hope you didn't get any sand in your cake ;-)
ReplyDeleteWhat a nice birthday gathering for Bobbie in Australia! I want a share of that cake though...
ReplyDeleteHi John and Bobbie, my 12 year old daughter performed as part of the Australian Girls Choir the Michael Jackson Tribute 'Earth Song'. I just got so excited when I saw your photos! She is the girl behind Carmen. Would I be able to get a copy of this picture? Do you have any other pictures of the Earth Song performance? I would be forever grateful!!!! Kind Regards, Sylvia

Wow, I recognized the ferry and the steps of Manly Beach. A year ago we were there and we ate fish and chips! Ruud and I attended the live Sydney concert in the cinema in Rotterdam and we immediately bought tickets for the repeat in The Hague, next Sunday.Have a wonderful time you Yankees, together with the Aussies! We Dutchies follow you!
ReplyDeleteThanks John for all the fantastic Sydney and concert pictures. Brought back fond memories of our visit 20 years ago. And all your hard work keeping us up to date, Sue. Appreciate you.
ReplyDeleteBelated Happy Birthday, Bobbie and best to Ruth, Jim and all the Aussies we have met.
Next year? Maybe a return for us.
Laurie
A very Happy Birthday Bobbie and what better to celebrate it. Your kindness is deserving.
