Due to escalating security situation tonights concert in Toronto is postponed! Further announcements will be made soon!
It is with great regret that André Rieu announces the cancellation of the Toronto stop of the "Celebration of Music" tour with his 55 piece Johann Strauss Orchestra, which was to be returning to Air Canada Centre on June 26th.
All tickets will be valid dear fans in Toronto. We come back in December. The date we let you know asap. I am very sad.

Oh, what a huge disappointment for all those who were attending! What will everyone do with their evening now? Even though their tickets are still good, too bad about their travel arrangements.
ReplyDeleteHe has said they will have their concert in December, but that doesn't make them feel any better for tonight ... so sad. :/
ReplyDeleteIf I were in that situation I would be happy that he is coming back but really ticked off (not at Andre) that I had to pay twice for hotels and air fare if I wanted to see him again. I did not plan to go to Toronto, saw him in Boston, and will see him in Maastricht.
