Many of you are going to the NBC Today Show to see André and have been emailing us asking for more information about it as it still has not been announced on the Today Shows Website, or anywhere ... (The Today Show does not usually advertise a concert on their website until a few days prior to the performance.)
This is what we have been told: It is 100% confirmed he will be on the show Wednesday June 16th, but they have not yet confirmed how many songs André and the JSO will be playing. We were also told that André will be performing sometime after 8:30, but if you want to be up front, you should be there no later then 6:00. (I think I would get there even earlier).
Fans do not need tickets. It is first come first serve standing room only on the plaza and all fans should enter the plaza on 48th street between 5th and 6th avenue.To those of you going, have fun and the rest of us will be "Tuned In on our Televisions" that morning!!!

I might have to bring more gear for the Rieu camp than what I need for a whole week of travelling.... but it'd be fun, wouldn't it?

To all those going to the Today show next week have a RIEU-lly wonderful time. It reminds me of the first time I saw André live at Warringah Mall in September 2007 and then again at Blacktown in May 2009.
ReplyDeleteI agree that the earlier you get there the better. The waiting time seems to go quickly particularly if you can chat to those around you.
