A Big Surprise At Saturday Nights Concert!
There were ponchos on every seat tonight because of a threat of rain. The German group was not in the program. (They were probably included only for the ZDF show.) Half way through the encores - DJ Otzi!! He did a German song, then Sweet Caroline in English and also did La Ola Waltzer ... Just after he finished a thunderstorm hit with pretty heavy rain. On went the ponchos for last number, "Marina" ..... Al Girard

I'm a day late and a dollar short again!! I was so hoping DJ Ötzi would be the special guest last year when I was there. I'd love to see him!!!! Guess it's too much to hope for him to be the special guest in Vienna next year. I'm very glad Al and the others were able to see him though. I know Al was hoping he'd be there last year too.

We can sob together, Sue. Yes, I too was so excited when I heard he was going to be the special guest last year. Oh well, maybe another time....that'll teach me to miss a Maastricht concert!
