AN INTERVIEW WITH MIRUSIA

I started training singing Country and Pop music when I was 12. I was doing Ju-Jitsu and my dad gave me a choice, Ju-Jitsu or singing lessons. When he suggested singing lessons I got butterflies in my stomach and straight away couldn’t think of anything else. Ju-Jitsu didn’t matter to me anymore! Whow! What a detailed article. Great to learn even a bit more about Mirusia. And being a woman Mirusia can treat herself to a nice pedicure :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful interview. Is this published in an Australian or American magazine?
ReplyDeleteIn reply to InekeHolland. This was published in an Australian magazine.(OnLine only ??) Mirusia is currently back home and is also using the opportunity to promote her new CD which has just been released. I just bought one in a shop today.

What a wonderful article.
ReplyDeleteAlso enjoyed the great comments about Carmen, who has been a favorite since I first heard her on the "Dublin" DVD back in 2003 (when Andre came over here to promote in the Trenton, NJ PBS station on August 9th.)
I chatted with both girlso at our hotel in Atlantic City last June 19, and you could tell they are best friends. I also remember seeing the two of them in Maastricht several years ago, walking from the Vrijthof to the "theater" where they have the after party nightly. They were walking hand in hand...sort of like big and little sisters and you could see that Carmen was "taking care of her", as it was Mirusia's first experience performing at the Vrijthof concerts. That night both John and Ruud took pictures of us women with the girls.
Nice memories.
