What does a gold ring, a gold record, wrought-iron candle holders and a bronze wild boar have in common? And what happened to the old Mercedes? The answers can be found by going to ►www.andrerieu-movies.com
This story of Andre's CD was very interesting. It seemed that Andre was put under pressure to donate this trophy which in the end Hanne received in exchange for the candle holders which were not very valuable. I guess that's how this program works. Hanne will treasure the gold record anyway and I hope the children's charity will benefit. Lois
I agree with you Lois i never would have parted with my gold record. In the interview although i am not a 100% sure- they said it was Andre's first gold record. But any way i hope they raised lots of money for the kids for that is truy what is important. Barb
I thought this show ("Swap-Reporter") was really funny and I really enjoyed watching it. The whole idea was so clever, and there were so many funny moments- the "beautiful fish" in Andre's castle kitchen, the Mercedes that wouldn't start, the candelabra that turned out to be from the 1960's, etc. Very enjoyable. Congratulations Hanne on winning the gold record, and thanks to Ineke, Ruud, and John for the 3-way translation! Jennifer Dawson in snowy Boston
