Sir Anthony Hopkins Talks of Working With André Rieu
Sir Anthony Hopkins will release a new album of original classical music with Classic FM in the New Year
The record, titled Anthony Hopkins – Composer, includes brand new work and some of his previous scores from films. The Oscar winning actor, recorded the album with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra in concert this summer. The disc contains nine pieces of music and is due for release on January 16.
We spoke to Sir Anthony before the album release. In the final part of our interview with Sir Anthony Hopkins, the celebrated actor talks about working with the superstar violinist, conductor and orchestra leader, André Rieu.
My goodness! This is definitely one of my most favourite interviews of all times. I was watching Mission: Impossible II the other night and just LOVE it when Sir Hopkins said to Ethan(about Nyah) "she's a woman, she's got all the training she needs". He just always speaks in STYLE! Of course he's so right about Andre, including the "speed freak" :)
