Farewell Concert in Vancouver With Alice
It was nice to see the updates and pics of concerts in the 2013 US/Canada Tour, and fans were getting more excited when the AR buses and trucks got closer and closer to our very own cities. Finally! The last stop of this tour, the day we sooo looked forward to.....Andre Rieu & the Johann Strauss Orchestra, Vancouver, Rogers Arena, March 20! YES!!!

    Thanks so much, Alice. I always enjoy reading your concert reports and seeing your photos. How wonderful that you were able to talk with Andre and get his autograph! Jennifer will be ecstatic that he is doing Hong Kong. She's been looking for a good excuse to go back there again. Hope to see you at another concert again soon.

    Thanku very much Alice for yourcommentsand photos. U were very lucky girl to get to speak with Andre & to get his autograph. I have seen him twice in Belfast and going to see him again in DecemberbutI have never been fortunate enough to get his autograph. Thank you again, best greetings from Ireland x

    I'm so glad you all enjoyed it, but again Sue had to work very hard on it. The way she put the pics with the story is very nice, so nice that it even brought myself back to the evening in a more memorable way. Thank you Sunshine!! I did some sight-seeing (and food of course) with John and Bobbie today, and they came to my place and saw the flowers again :)

    We do travel to other places from time to time and I think that Vancouver would be a great destination the next time JSO hits the west coast.

    Very nice report Alice! We experienced the snowstorm 2011 in Des Moines but the snowmaker broke in Pittsburg (had a nice butterfly umbrella all ready to surprise Andre). This years Tampa concert the air conditioner reportedly blew snow onto Andre and JSO (Ha Ha!). Wonder if the couple that didn't return after intermission was miffed about snow messing up their hair and nice clothes.
