André Rieu Arrives in New Zealand!
The King of Waltz Is Here!
I wonder...the minute André saw the group...did he have tears in his eyes?? He must be sooo touched by this special welcome. Oh! How lovely!
ReplyDeleteThat is the most wonderful and beautiful country. We hoped to go back ourselves, but too many conflicts. Driving on the "wrong" side of the road in a shift car is a little tricky, but it's amazing how quickly you get onto it. Maybe next year. At least we had an extensive trip once.

What a unique welcome! I'm sure Andre & the JSO enjoyed having others entertain them this time around. We enjoyed it too, via pictures!
ReplyDeleteOh how I'd loved to have seen that, fantastic - a Maori welcome for Andre and the JSO, I wonder if there will be a hangi cooked for them? afterall everyone has to eat...
ReplyDeleteYou're right Laurie, driving those mountain roads are such a challenge but it's all worth it eh.

Funny to see these pictures at the Auckland Museum. A couple of hours earlier I had been there, too.
ReplyDeleteYesterday I did a tour by bus to Rotorua. It is really a dream to travel through this country.
Today I will go to the 2nd concert here in Auckland.
Greetings from Auckland, Beate
(would love to load my pictures, but have some trouble with the public WIFI.)
We will look forward to all your pictures when you get home Beate!!
