UPDATE André On "Flikken Maastricht" NOW With English Subtitles!
During and after the Maastricht 2009 concert shots were made by the crew of the program on the Vrijthof and at André's castle. A child disappears, a stolen car stopped and in a bag traces of explosives, a mad fan with dangerous plans, the whole police force of Maastricht on alert, a lady rushing onto the square and disappears in the crowd. And is Bruno Gabriels, André's body guard (and Johan's nephew ;-) really that secure"? The bomb explodes and André is taking care of Eva van Dongen ... Watch the video without subtitles. Tomorrow afternoon we hope to post the version with them.On Friday January 29th, 2010 the TROS television showed the episode of "Flikken Maastricht" (Cops of Maastricht) in which André plays a prominent guest role. In the pictures you see him with Floris Wolfs (played by Victor Reinier) and Eva van Dongen (Angela Schijf).
UPDATE: Thanks to Ineke, Ruud and John, there are now ENGLISH SUBTITLES with the 40 minute show. Click on link to watch! ►André on Flikken January 2010
See the post below this one for a story about the Flikken surprise.
I watched the show and I thought André did VERY Well!!! I was surprised to see how good he was in Flikken after seeing him in Neighbours, which I agreed he needed to keep his day job on that one.
ReplyDeleteIt was really fun watching this and remembering the things we saw and did pertaining to the show while we were in Maastricht ~ André! André! André! ... Sue :)
Yes Sue, André was very good in this show. Another talent to add to his ever-increasing list!
ReplyDeleteI remember watching them film part of this at the Friday concert in Maastricht, but I didn't know what I was watching at the time. I couldn't imagine why he would let someone else march in with him and the orchestra...and talking on a cell phone besides!
Same here! I thought "How come André was escorted by a COOL-LOOKING girl and not his usual bodyguards...later we learnt! Funny we're all part of the act!
ReplyDeleteI especially like André using the walkie talkie, he really did it IN STYLE :D
It was Tuesday or Wednesday night before everyone got there that Sonja and I saw two of the busses drive behind the Vrijthof. It was late at night and we decided to go investigate. They were filming all the scenes done behind the stage setting that night ... but we didn't know what they were filming at the time. We knew it was big because there were so many camera crews, cables and light sets and André was there. :)
ReplyDeleteA also thought that Andre did a great job of acting . I think that all of us that were in Maastricht, wondered if perhaps Andre had a female body guard. She was certainly dressed, the part.
ReplyDeleteSue just gave us a little more ---behind the scene info.
