André Rieu Postpones Concert Due To Illness

de Limburger Aug. 26, 2010: Due to illness, André Rieu has postponed his Saturday concert in the Thialf stadium in Heerenveen. The musician has a viral infection. The performance will now take place on Saturday, April 16th. This is what a Rieu spokeswoman made known on Thursday. The artist is expected to recover quickly. His next concert, on September 4 in the Amsterdam ArenA will go on as planned.
All on The Harmony Parlor wish André well and a speedy recovery!!

  6. OH NO!! Just when I thought André was stretching his free Sunday a bit with no new tweet, this message came totally as a surprise! Yeah Chris, I think it's the very first time in over 30 years he had to cancel a concert due to illness! But glad to hear he's recovering. We♥You, André!

  7. I was watching the "Live in Sydney" DVD two nights ago. In that concert he told the audience that in 30 years of performing he's never been sick. He'll now have to change that to "seldom sick".
