André Rieu Tops Hot Tours
Billboard: Dutch violinist André Rieu tops the Hot Tours list this week largely due to eight concerts he performed during July in the Vrijthof, the main square in Maastricht, the city where he lives in the Netherlands. The concerts, staged outdoors in the city square, drew a total of 59,032 people for all eight performances (July 9-13, 16-18) grossing more than €4 million ($5.1 million US). This year marks the fifth consecutive summer Rieu has performed multiple open-air concerts in his hometown. ►Billboard Article
GREAT news...but poor André sure paid for it. Glad he's now recovered from his infection...and what a beautiful blue-filtered effect from the photographer who felt funny being in control of THE MAN!
