Andre Rieu's Company Named Media Company of The Year
André Rieu October 1, 2010 ~ Broadcasting Convention, Bussum: André Rieu Productions was named yesterday by the Broadcasting Congress in Bussum as the Media Company of the year 2010. Pierre Rieu accepted the prize in name of his father, André Rieu, who is still sick at home.
The Maastricht Production Company creates its own in-house Documentary Soaps and Concert Recordings for TV and DVD. And according to the jury, it reaches audiences in the millions worldwide. In the Netherlands the Rieu productions are broadcast by the TROS. (Dutch Television) The broadcast from the Vrijthof in Maastricht drew 2.1 million Dutch viewers.
