André has this announcement on his Facebook Page. For the fans that don't have Facebook, I am posting it here on the Parlor for you.
From André Rieu on Facebook: Soloist Mirusia just became the Star Ambassador of the Social Network Foundation. This foundation supports sick and disadvantaged children in The Netherlands by raising support and awareness through social networking. The foundation helps children and their families with financial contributions or contributions in kindness. Isn't that great?!

    Thanks Sue, it is indeed great to see entertainers devoting their time and energy to social causes. Congratulations Mirusia!
