Jostiband on Stage
April 5-The Limburger: André Rieu surprised the Jostiband with an invitation to perform together with him on the Vrijthof in Maastricht. That was the reason for the world renowned violinist's visit to the rehearsal of the band. This is what the Jostiband revealed via twitter. André Rieu performs traditionally with his Johann Strauss orchestra in his hometown of Maastricht, this time in June and July. The precise day and how many times the Jostiband will perform is not yet known.

yeah. agreed. jostiband, for THAT price? Not cool. Great that down's people learn to make and love music, but that is not what I attend a Rieu concert for.

Emilly, I am sure that a lot of people would have someone else they would prefer to see but it is fantastic that somebody like Andre Rieu with a world following is having this amazing band on stage with him in a brilliant place like the Vrijthof in Maastricht. Unfortunatley I will not be there to see them, I would be honoured to see them perfoming with AR and the JSO. Well done Andre I say.

I totally agree with Steph. I am looking forward to Andre and the JSO and whatever he wants to serve up. Peter and Emily, I am sure you will enjoy the concerts.
