André Rieu has published new dates for his canceled concerts in the Netherlands. The world famous violinist had to cancel concerts in Heerenveen and Amsterdam because of a persistent viral infection in his labyrinth.
The concert that would have taken place on August 28 in the Thialf stadium in Heerenveen has been moved to Saturday, April 16. The performance which was planned for September 4 in the Amsterdam Arena has been changed to Whit Monday (Pentecost Monday), June 13th. The concert was originally scheduled to start at 20.00, but the time has been brought forward to 14.30 CET (Central European Time). For that afternoon the Arena will be totally darkened.
The private concert for the Postcode Lottery, which was scheduled for September 5th, has been rescheduled for another day. This performance will take place on June 12th at 14.30 CET. "I am so looking forward to April and again June, to be able to stand in front of all my Dutch fans and make wonderful music again," said Rieu.
Thanks to John for the Translation of this
