Dear André Rieu friends, I just received this from Carla Maffioletti herself ...."I'm going to join André in all concerts on the American Tour this year, which means APRIL, MAY and JUNE 2009."Carmen Monarcha will be singing in the XIII Amazon Festival of opera's in Manaus Brazil, April, May and June 2009. ~ Arie

Arie, thanks for the GREAT NEWS!!! Bonnie and I have not had the pleasure of seeing Carla perform LIVE - so were are thrilled. We already have tickets for Baltimore and Detriot. Our nine year old niece lives in Chicago and she absolutely adores Carla. I have forwarded this information to her - I believe that she will start the arm twisting tonight.
