INEKE'S PHOTOS FROM ANDRÉ'S CONCERT IN ANTWERP
The program was not new, but Mirusia sang one new song ... "Don't Cry For Me Argentina" ........ The atmosphere was great!!
André announced that he has FOUR Grandchildren now!! We talked to Kerstin and she confirmed (what we had already read in the German gossip papers before, but we did not publish as to give the family the honor to do that!!), Marc's second child and his first daughter was born in August 2010 and is named FLEUR. (French/Flower).
André was very nervous for his first concert, he did not feel well enough in the past weeks to rehearse new pieces, and they went home immediately after the concert. (normally they eat and drink something in the venue as an after party, but they did not do that tonight).
We saw two new faces in the orchestra (violin players). And André announced that Leon had recently become a father!

Lovely to get a first hand report so quickly, and I'm glad that Andre is being sensible. Also nice to hear the news of a new granddaughter - what a beautiful name! Congratulations to the whole family.

I'm sure that Andre was not the only nervous person...I'm sure that the audience was very nervous for him. He starts a very hectic tour next week...for his 1st comeback tour.

I forgot to mention that Habanera was sung by Carmen, of course! In the red seductive dress. And Mirusia and Kimmy had new hairdo's.

What wonderful news, Andre & Marjorie are grandparents again and what a gorgeous name for their baby granddaughter. Thanks to all concerned for keeping us in the picture - what would we do without you all. Thanks and cheeRIEU from Val & Vic. F. Gp. :)
Firstly, thank all of you for the hard work and long hours in giving us reports so promptly. I read them at 2am last night and now I have just watched the video – twice. It was so good to see André on stage again and hope his good health continues through the coming busy tours. I can’t wait for May 11, 2011. Congratulations to the family on the birth of Fleur, Ivan is outnumbered now- haha
Oh, I had asked about the 4th grandchild in an earlier post, and from reading this I read the answer ;-). Thanks for giving a nice update on the concert - glad it went well!
