André Rieu Again on Stage Tuesday
André Rieu will again perform for the first time on Tuesday in a private concert in England. André's manager announced that information to RTL Boulevard. The violin virtuoso was down with the flu and had to cancel a series of concerts in Germany. André was busy with his successful tour in Germany. For the maestro it was letting the flu take its course ...... In the mean time, the Limburger is fully restored and he can proceed onwards. His first appearance is now planned for England, in a private concert. The canceled concerts will be rescheduled.

Very puzzled by the private concert bit, I thought he did not do that kind of thing as he likes to take his music to the 'people'. Maybe its the queen and he could not refuse,lol.
he will do them but very rare. few years bac he did 1 for the founder of Otto (it's a company that you can order stuff to your house from a cataloge) i think it was his 90th or 100th birthday mabe. judith.

Five more concerts postponed in February. Not a good sign for Andre's health situation. He really
did appear to be pushing the limits
with so many concerts being packed into 2012. Needs a backup conductor. Andre has got to be a better manager of his health.
