André Rieu Back in Action
De Limburger: MAASTRICHT - Wednesday, April 18, 2012 Violinist André Rieu is making his comeback to the stage. The musical leader of the Johann Strauss Orchestra resumes his concert series on Friday with a performance in the Danish City of Odense. One day later a concert in Copenhagen is on the program. Afterwards Rieu and his company will travel to Germany for various shows. These are in preparation for the Brazilian tour which is reflected in the program for the end of May. They will be the first concerts in South America.
The Maastricht artist has not performed since mid-January. For the past few months he has been forced torest due to burnout. Overtired, he had to cancel several tours abroad.
Last week Rieu started rehearsing again and preparing for new shows. The rehearsals went well and the artist feels fit enough again to perform. The concerts which have been canceled since January, will be made up later this year.
Thanks to John for getting this from his Limburger and Translating it for us

thanks again for the translation John.
Great news of course, but I do hope the incomparable, wonderful Andre has now realised that although his heart (and all of our's thanks to our Dear Maestro of the World) is forever young, his body disagrees!! We need his magical music to last forever.

Hello all,
I would ask permission,
to this blog to leave a small message,
I bought 10 months ago,
Tickets for the concert in Budapest on May 4,
but I had an unexpected and can not go,
I'm from Brazil,
and if you have any fan European
that has interested in buying my invitations,
we could exchange e-mail contact here at the blog,
are three tickets in a sector in front of the stage,
and paid 96 euros each,
everyone knows it's hard to get seats in the front row,
would be a dream for me to go to the concert, since it will be the first in Budapest,
but due to unforeseen will not be able to be in Europe,
and I'm sad to ask the cancellation, and leave the seats vacancies
I look for any fan interested in Europe,
catarina of Brazil
