André Rieu & Friends on the Vrijthof in Maastricht
Feb. 6, 2013: André Rieu is working on a new project. The Maastricht Waltz King is busy recording a new album ' André Rieu & Friends '. The leader of the Johann Strauss Orchestra is cooperating with a number of world stars. Jermaine Jackson is currently in Maastricht recording songs with Rieu.
Rieu has also spoken with Lionel Richie, Barry Gibb, Chris de Burgh and Sting. It is intended that every night another artist will appear as a surprise in addition to André Rieu during the traditional concerts on the Vrijthof in Maastricht. (By Peter van de Berg)

Sting, WOW!!! Now that would REALLY be a once-in-a-lifetime concert! WOW!!! Jermaine Jackson is great too, and I'm looking hard at my summer plans! :-) Some things are just too good to miss (especially if Barry Gibb sings "Massachusetts", haha). Really, it all sounds great and I congratulate Andre Rieu on these collaborations.
