the River Maas. It is so peaceful and beautiful there! The picture is the view from our table. The rest of the day we walked the streets, took in more of the sights and went the the VVV. The picture with the horse and buggy I took from our room.Today our day started out as it does everyday ... breakfast at the cafe on
I'm tired tonight, so just a few pictures. Ruth and Sonja will be here tomorrow and we are looking forward to seeing them.
As you can see by the webcam they are getting a LOT done!! They have ALL the light towers up today and the stage part about finished. Everything is there and they're getting it together fast!! It's been fun watching all the huge trucks roll in all weekend. If you could see the tiny street they have to come in one you'd wonder how on earth they do it!! I will take more pictures tomorrow of what you can't see off the webcame frame ... and will try to get them on tomorrow night ... Sue and Betty :)
The last picture is of Betty where we were having dinnerat Gaucho's ... we have dinner there EVERY night so we can watch what they're doing on the Vrijthof while we eat. :)

Hey Betty/Sue - save us some "fly". We'll be there soon (Thursday). I'm bleary-eyed between watching the webcam from the hotel and reading all your posts on this site.
See you VERY soon,

Sue I'm awe struck with the magnitude of World wide Friendship generated by Andrés music with J.S.O. and your memorable photos and comments - so all inclusive. I don't know how to offer photos I took, except by e mail. Can you give me yours?
Maastricht 2009 was for me a treasured experience and I'd like to thank all of you for being so kind and helpful. Mildred
Nothing wrong with Fries and Mayo Lawrence ~ I LOVE them that way in Holland. But I have to say when I ask for them that way at home they look at me very strange. ;-)
Sweet Mildred ~ what a pleasure it was to meet you! And what a brave soul you are to do all that traveling by yourself. I could never do that.
I enjoyed our little chats and hope that we'll meet again. Please do send your pictures, here's my email address:
