Marvelous Maastricht Is So Much More Than a Historical Footnote
The mighty Maas waltzes effortlessly between the two sides of the Dutch city of Maastricht, both markedly different. Rising from the west bank is an old town of Renaissance houses crammed on to cobbled alleys built atop Roman ruins (giving weight to the claim that this is the Netherlands' oldest city).

Whilst I won't be in Maastricht for Andre's July concerts, I will be there in October 2011, and having just read this fantastic article and been amazed at the photographs I cannot wait. Lots to look forward to before then though, i.e. Andre visiting us Down Under in May - that is even more exciting! cheeRIEU from Val x :)
